September 20 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's government has said Spanish hotel operator Iberostar plans to start talks for the acquisition of assets in the country.
The fiscal consolidation reforms of the Montenegrin government have encouraged construction of luxury hotels in the country, Montenegrin prime minister Dusko Markovic said after a meeting with the owner of Iberostar, Miguel Fluxa Rossello, according to a government press release issued on Tuesday.

Iberostar plans to open a hotel in Montenegro's Njivice in May 2018, the government said.
The Spanish company operates the Bellevue hotel in Budva.
