PODGORICA (Montenegro), May 14 (SeeNews) – Spanish company Aqualia Infraestructuras won a tender for the design and construction of a municipal waste water treatment plant in Montenegrin municipality of Pljevlja, a project worth 6.0 million euro ($8.2 million), a notice in the European Union’s procurement journal indicated on Wednesday.
The scope of works is related to the design of the plant with total capacity of 42,000 PE (population equivalent) and the construction of the first phase of the plant with capacity of 28,000 PE, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily said.
The tender was called in January.
The project will be financed with the proceeds from a European Investment Bank loan.
