LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), June 14 (SeeNews) – Standard & Poor's Global Ratings and DBRS Morningstar affirmed their credit ratings on Slovenia at AA- and A, respectively, both with a stable outlook, the Slovenian finance ministry said.
DBRS Morningstar estimates that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Slovenia has a solid framework of macroeconomic policies, the finance ministry said in a statement on Friday.
Slovenia entered the COVID-19 crisis well prepared and the strength of its recovery in 2021 will depend on how successful its vaccination campaign will be, the finance ministry quoted DBRS Morningstar as saying.
Throughout the epidemic, credit rating agencies have confirmed their ratings of Slovenia. In October 2020, Moody's upgraded its rating on the country to A3 from Baa1, while downgrading the outlook to stable from positive.
