March 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug distributor and retailer Sopharma Trading [BUL:SO5] said on Thursday its consolidated net profit decreased to 10.6 million levs ($6.6 million/5.4 million euro) in 2017, from 10.9 million levs the year before.
The company's revenues grew to 721.1 million levs last year from 613.1 million levs in 2016, Sopharma Trading said in its annual financial report filed with the Sofia bourse.
Sopharma Trading's cost of goods sold increased to 663.8 million levs in 2017, compared to 566.5 million levs a year earlier.
In December, the company finalised the acquisition of 19 pharmacies located in Sofia and Burgas, forming local chain PharmaStore. At the time, Sopharma Trading said the pharmacies will be integrated into its SOpharmacy brand in the following months.
