October 6 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] generated 59% of the total turnover on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), bourse data shows.
Total trading turnover on the Sofia bourse grew to 1.83 million levs on Friday from 427,300 levs on Thursday.
Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] was the top blue chip gainer closing 5.79% higher at 1.334 levs ($0.79/0.68 euro) as 600 shares changed hands.
Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] led the blue-chip decliners on Friday, closing 1.61% lower at 1.712 levs.
The blue-chip SOFIX index increased 0.98% to 679.50 points, after falling 0.65% on Thursday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), added 0.64% to 132.83 points, after falling 0.57% on Thursday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, grew by 1.09% to 115.85 points on Friday. On Thursday, the index closed 0.03% lower.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell to 0.54% to 553.69 points, following a 0.51% decrease on Thursday.
