November 22 (SeeNews) - Soybean processing group Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] generated the highest share turnover and led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as share indices increased, bourse data showed.
A total of 9,468 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 3.2 million dinars. Sojaprotein won 14.38% and closed at 342 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, rose 0.44% to 731.78 points on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the index decreased 0.73%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, went up 0.52% on Wednesday and closed at 1,611.59 points, after dropping 0.62% on Tuesday.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] paced the blue-chip decliners on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as its share price fell 0.10% to 2,101 dinars. A total of 50 shares in the company changed hands, generating a turnover of 105,050 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse decreased to 18.9 million dinars ($186,333/158,591 euro) on Wednesday from 40.7 million dinars on Tuesday, as 184 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 632,872 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 2.263 billion dinars to the session's total trading turnover of 2.283 billion dinars on the bourse. A total of 111,301 bonds of the dinar-denominated RSO15105 issue changed hands in four deals, generating a turnover of 1.5 billion dinars. The bonds bear a coupon of 10% and mature on March 2, 2018.
