November 10 (SeeNews) - All principal Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) indices closed in green territory for the second straight day on Thursday, as the blue-chip SOFIX index passed the 600 point mark for the first time since mid-September.
The gain of 0.81% in the SOFIX to 602.26 points was chiefly backed by a 5.41% climb in Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH] to 7.40 levs in a trading volume of 21,417. That was coupled with a 2.31% rise in IoT maker Allterco [BUL:A4L] to 19.95 levs.
Diversified group Chimimport [BUl:CHIM] was the main blue-chip decliner, slipping 0.99% to 0.80 levs with 20,049 shares traded.
The increase in Doverie, together with a 3.88% advance in Hydraulic Elements and Systems [BUL:HES] to 6.70% enabled the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded companies on the Sofia bourse, to grow 0.48% to 137.98 points. Resort operator Albena [BUL:ALB], on the other hand, lost 3.82% to 25.20 levs.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, marked the smallest gain, ticking up 0.43% to 720.21 points. Doverie again paced the gainers of this index, followed by Super Borovetz Property Fund REIT [BUL:SBPF] which added 2.86% to 2.88 levs with 24,500 shares bought and sold.
On the back of the property fund's gain, the BGREIT, which comprises seven real estate investment trusts, went up 0.66% to 180.17 points.
Total turnover on the main market declined to to 8.5 million levs ($4.4 million/4.3 million euro) on Thursday from a surge to 12.1 million levs on Wednesday.
The main stock, which contributed to the turnover, was again Sila Holding [BUL:HSI]. The stock closed flat at 2.80 levs, after 517,632 shares changed hands for a turnover of some 1.5 million levs.
