November 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian stock indices ended mostly higher on Tuesday, while blue-chip SOFIX declined, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SOFIX index, which tracks the 15 most liquid shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), fell 0.40% to 462.93 points after rose by 0.27% on Monday.
The broader BG40, which includes the 40 most traded shares, grew 0.29% to 160.58 points.
Turnover on the regulated market grew to 2.4 million levs ($1.65 million/1.22 million euro) from 1.0 million levs on Monday.
Bulgarian resort operator Albena AD [BUL:6AB] was the top SOFIX gainer, closing 2.24% higher at 59.30 levs as 1,324 shares changed hands.
Bulgartabac Holding [BUL:57B] was the top blue-chip decliner, ending 4.76% lower at 100 levs in a volume of 31 shares.
Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR], which dropped 0.86% to 3.35 levs, was among the most traded SOFIX components on Tuesday as 408,092 changed hands. Industrial group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] also experienced brisk trading as 420,226 of its shares changed hands and it closed up 0.21% at 1.413 levs.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, edged up 0.13% to 87.62 points.
The BG TotalReturn30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.26% to 331.51 points.
