January 8 (SeeNews) - Metropolitan, the state-owned operator of the Bulgarian capital city's subway, opened a 45 million lev ($25 million/23 million euro) tender for the construction of a station and a section of the third line of the city's subway.
The contract envisages the design and construction of the first station on the third line of the subway, which is planned to start at the end of January, and the rail track to the next station, a Metropolitan said in a notice published on the website of the country's Public Procurement Agency on Thursday.
The planned subway station will have an area of some 5,000 sq m.
The works should be completed within 36 month period.
Bids should be submitted by March 1.
