November 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian Stock Exchange indices closed in green territory on Friday, ending an otherwise negative week on a high note.
The blue-chip SOFIX index closed 0.22% higher at 551.22 points on Friday, ending the week with an overall loss of 0.48%.
The benchmark was supported by a 2.74% rise in First Investment Bank (Fibank) [BUL:5F4] shares on Friday. The other blue-chip gainers at the end of the session were Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:4ID] and poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] with share price increases of 1.54% and 0.30%, respectively.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 0.30% to 109.01 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, advanced 0.28% to 494.55 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, closed unchanged from its previous closing value of 129.06 points.
Total regulated market trading turnover amounted to some 73,000 levs.
