July 31 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index fell 0.14% to 580.68 points on Wednesday, largely due to a 5.56% drop in the share price of financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH].
Eurohold shares closed the trading session at 1.87 levs, an are 8.33% down since the start of the week. On Tuesday, Eurohold said that its non-consolidated net loss slightly narrowed to 7.6 million levs in the first half of 2019 from 7.8 million levs in the same period of 2018.
Eurohold also led decliners among members of the wider BGBX40 index and the equally-weighted BGTR30 index.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the stock exchange in Sofia, fell by 0.16% to 114.61 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.16% to end the session at 511.13 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, erased 0.10% to 126.85 points, dragged down by a 0.52% decrease in the share price of Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:6A6].
Total regulated market trading turnover more than doubled to 934,000 levs on Wednesday from 418,000 levs on Tuesday.
