May 20 (SeeNews) - All indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in positive territory on Friday, mainly backed by gains in Bulgaria's Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:CCB], bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SOFIX index added 0.77% to 618.69 points. The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, went up by 0.63% to 146.38 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.58% to 734.92 points.
CCB paced the gainers among the members of both the SOFIX and the BGTR30, with an 3.74% rise in its share price, to 2.22 levs. As many as 2,959 CCB shares changed hands on the floor of the BSE on Friday.
The rise in the BGBX40 was mainly supported by Oil and Gas Exploration and Production [BUL:NGAZ], whose share price increased by 6.06% to 7.0 levs as 4,534 shares changed hands.
The BGREIT, which comprises seven real estate investment trusts, went up 0.24% to 181.64 points, due to a 1.13% rise in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER], to 3.59 levs.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market decreased to 507,299 levs ($273,456/259,377 euro) from 2.1 million levs on Thursday.
