The public procurement procedure for awarding the contract attracted two offers, according to the notice.
On Tuesday, Sofia mayor Yordanka Fandakova said in a post on her Facebook page that the city will receive 60 gas-powered buses in October.
In January, Stolichen Avtotransport said it has received two offers - from BACB Finance and Eurolease Auto. BACB Finance offered a higher price, but the technical aspects of its offer received a better score than Eurolease Auto's bid.
Stolichen Avtotransport is currently awaiting offers for the supply of 60 articulated gas buses, with the deadline for submitting offers on May 2. The estimated value of the contract is 43 million levs.
Sofia-based BACB Finance is a wholly owned subsidiary of local lender Bulgarian-American Credit Bank.
