July 3 (SeeNews) - The municipality of Sofia said the lowest offer of the seven price bids opened on Wednesday for building a twin sewage collector for the southern areas of the capital was 19.5 million levs ($12.9 million/10 million euro).
The bid was made by consortium Vladayski Collector 2013 - a tie-up of three construction companies. The highest bid, of 25.8 million levs, was made by GBS Infrastrukturno Stroitelstvo, a press release shows. The consortium of Sofia-listed Trace Group Hold offered the third best price, of 21.58 million levs.
The price will have 90% weight in deciding the award of the contract. The other criterion will be the time for completing the project.
The contract for building the 5.1 kilometre trunk sewer is estimated at 27.39 million levs, the municipality said earlier. The project has been allocated a total 34 million levs, of which 27.5 million is a grant under the EU funded operational program Environment 2007-2013.
