March 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pawnshop chain operator Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage [BUL:SCOM] said that its consolidated net profit rose to 3.3 million levs ($1.79 million /1.69 million euro) in 2022 from 2.1 million levs a year earlier.
The company’s revenue grew by an annual 23% to 8.4 million levs last year, Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage said in an annual financial statement on Tuesday.
In parallel, operating expenses widened to some 4.8 million levs from 4.5 million levs as remuneration costs added 24% to 3.5 million levs.
Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage operates a chain of over 100 pawnshops in Bulgaria.
As of 1055 CET on Wednesday, shares in Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage traded 3.45% higher at 3.00 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
