December 12 (SeeNews) - Total trading turnover on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange increased to 1.6 million levs ($930,000/818,000 euro) on Wednesday, from 1.4 million levs in the preceding session, as heavy trade in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:6A6] shares continued for a second consecutive day.
Over 600,000 Advance Terrafund REIT shares changed hands in four deals on Wednesday, forming a turnover of some 1.2 million levs, or 74% of the daily total. In the previous trading session, trade in Advance Terrafund REIT shares formed a turnover of 930,000 levs, or 66% of the total regulated market turnover.
Advance Terrafund REIT closed 0.25% lower at 1.965 levs on Wednesday and cost the BGREIT index 0.06 points. The index ended at 117.85 points, slightly backing away from its attempt to set a new all-time high.
The REIT was also one of four blue chips, which saw a decrease in their share price on Wednesday, and set the benchmark SOFIX index 0.03% back.
The SOFIX ended the session at 593.06 points, as drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] fell the most among its 15 constituents, by 0.83% to 3.6 levs.
Hydraulic equipment maker M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] and software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] followed with drops of 0.63% and 0.43%, respectively.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, followed suit, losing 0.24% to 115.07 points, as Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria [BUL:T43] dropped 12.41% to 0.24 levs.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.25% to 490.12 points. Industrial Capital Holding [BUL:4I8] fell most among its constituents, by 5.65% to 2.34 levs.
