January 23 (SeeNews) - The indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange closed mixed on Wednesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX index closing 0.75% lower at 562.86 points, hit by a 6.0% decrease in the share price of insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH].
Eurohold ended at 1.41 levs, as 26,575 shares in the company changed hands in 23 deals on Wednesday.
The other top decliners were software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] and diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR], which dropped 3.02% and 2.36%, respectively.
Overall, the biggest declines on Wednesday were recorded by diversified group Favorit Hold [BUL:6A9] and power tools manufacturer Sparky Eltos [BUL:SL9]. Favorit Hold's shares erased 25.45% to 2.46 levs, while Sparky Eltos fell 9.21% to 0.069 levs.
First Investment Bank (Fibank) [BUL:5F4] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price rose 1.61% to 3.15 levs.
The BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, fell 0.10% to 111.37 points, while the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.74% to 479.43 points.
The BGREIT index closed 0.41% higher at 120.45 points on Wednesday.
Regulated market turnover rose slightly to 311,700 levs ($181,367/159,370 euro) on Wednesday from 200,100 levs on Tuesday.
