October 12 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) [BUL:BSE], the operator of the bourse in Sofia, said on Tuesday that its shareholders approved the distribution of a gross dividend of 0.55 levs ($0.32/0.28 euro) per share for the first half of 2021.
BSE will distribute a total of 3.62 million levs as dividend for the first half of this year, the company said in a bourse filing.
The decision for the dividend distribution was adopted at a general shareholders' meeting held on October 12.
BSE's consolidated net profit rose to 3.6 million levs in the first six months of 2021 from some 2.4 million levs in the like period of last year.
BSE's shares closed 0.52% higher at 9.65 levs on the floor of the Sofia bourse on Tuesday.
