December 18 (SeeNews) - The benchmark SOFIX index ended Tuesday's trading session on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange 0.15% higher at 592.12 points, as diversified group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] rose most among blue chips, booking a 2.05% increase in its share price to 1.99 levs.
Other major gainers on Tuesday were software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] and drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR], which added 1.09% and 0.83%, respectively.

Car battery maker Monbat [BUL:5MB] fell most among blue chips, by 1.91%, followed by lenders First Investment Bank [BUL:5F4] and Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] with drops of 1.45% and 1.38%, respectively.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, backed away from the all-time high of 119.34 points it hit on Monday.
The BGREIT ended 0.79% lower at 118.40 points, solely due to a 3.75% decrease in Balkan and Sea Properties REIT's [BUL:5H4] share price.
Oil and Gas Exploration and Production [BUL:4O1] rose most among BSE-listed companies, hitting a four-month high after a 30.43% rise on Tuesday to a closing price of 7.5 levs.
Industrial Capital Holding [BUL:4I8] followed with a 5.13% rise to 2.46 levs, which bumped the BGBX40 and the BGTR30 indices up on Tuesday.
The BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, added 0.40% to 115.68 points, while the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.24% to 496.23 points.
Regulated market turnover rose sharply to 1.45 million levs ($843,000/741,000 euro) on Tuesday from 640,000 levs on Monday.
