SOFIA (Bulgaria), August 8 (SeeNews) - All indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) started the week in negative territory, mostly hurt by a 1.67% decline in diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH] and a 4.31% retreat in chemicals and fertilisers producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH].

Doverie, which closed at 7.06 levs, caused the blue-chip SOFIX index to shed 0.09% to 607.91 points.

The loss in Neochim, which finished the trading session at 40.00 levs, weighed on both the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight.

The BGBX40 erased 0.19% to 141.43 points, further penalised by a 3.41% drop in FairPlay Properties REIT [BUL:FPP] to 0.85 levs.

The BGTR30 index, for its part, ticked down 0.09% to 736.21 points, with constituent Stara Planina Hold losing 2.11% to 9.30 levs.

The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, declined the most on Monday, by 0.47% to 185.10 points. Its weak performance came as Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] slipped 1.61% to 2.44 levs while Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] edged down 0.66% to 3.00 levs.

Total turnover on the BSE's main market almost tripled to roughly 1.26 million levs ($658, 345/644,230 million euro) on Monday from 425,755 levs on Friday.

The most traded company on Monday was diversified group Synthetica [BUL:SYN]. A total of 12,000 shares in the company traded flat at an average price of 50.00 levs, contributing 600,000 levs to the daily turnover.
