March 14 (SeeNews) - All four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange ended on an upwards note on Tuesday, with the benchmark SOFIX index rising 0.38% to 627.46 points, bourse data showed.
Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:SFA] was the biggest gainer among blue-chips, up 1.87% to 5.45 levs with 7,814 shares traded.
The SOFIX gain was also boosted by a 1.67% rise in Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH] to 0.661 levs as well as a 1.52% increase in fertiliser maker Neochim [BUL:NEOH] to 40.20 levs.
On the other hand, the biggest drop among the SOFIX constituents was recorded by financial leasing firm Elana Agrocredit [BUL:EAC], dropping 1.94% to 1.01 levs as 30,000 of its shares changed hands.
A 5.56% climb in Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:IHB] to 1.90 levs helped propel higher both the wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight.
The BGBX40 added the most in Tuesday's trading session, or 0.56% to 143.09 points. This was in part helped by a 4.55% advance in Oil and Gas Exploration and Production [BUL:NGAZ] to 6.90 levs, along with a 3.52% gain in Eleven Capital [BUL:11C] to 20.60 levs in a trading volume of 2,225.
The BGTR30, for its part, went up 0.39% to 730.82 points, also thanks to the gain in Eleven Capital and a 2.40% increase in Bulgarian Stock Exchange [BUL:BSE] to 8.55 levs with 7,407 shares traded.
The BGREIT index, tracking seven real estate investment trusts, also performed on a better note, adding 0.26% to 188.56 points. That was chiefly due to Advance TerraFund [BUL:ATER] going up 1.23% to 3.30 levs.
IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L] was the top stock by turnover for the second day running, generating 453,083 levs after 1,009 shares changed hands at an average price of 3.28 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange slowed down to 1.06 million levs ($581,322/541,969 euro) on Tuesday from 1.29 million levs on Monday.
