June 2 (SeeNews) - Three of the four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed higher on Friday, with the blue-chip SOFIX adding 0.23% to 673.67 points.
The top blue-chip gainers were Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:CCB], which went up by 2.82% to 1.46 levs, and diversified group Holding Varna [BUL:HVAR], which climbed 1.86% to 43.80 levs.
CCB and Holding Varna additionally spurred the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse. The index was further boosted by a 1.91% rise in online gaming operator Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BSE:TIB] to 16.00 levs. BGBX40 closed 0.14% higher at 149.03 points.
The BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, grew by 0.07% to 753.14 points, lifted by gains in Holding Varna and a 1.58% increase at diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH] to 8.98 levs.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, ended the session unchanged at 190.18 points, after none of the three members that traded posted any changes to the previous day's close.
Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse fell to 348,426 levs ($190,564/178,147 euro) on Friday from 1.4 million levs on Thursday.
CCB was the day's top stock by turnover, generating 53,728 levs with 36,800 shares changing hands.
