March 31 (SeeNews) - All four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) gained ground on Friday, with the blue-chip SOFIX adding 0.68% to 610.79 points, bourse data showed.
SOFIX showed the strongest growth of the day, buoyed by First Investment Bank [BUL:FIB], or Fibank, and energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG]. Fibank leapt 5.83% to 2.18 levs, whereas Eurohold rose 2.88% to 1.43 levs.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, went up by 0.51% to 140.23 points. The index was boosted by the gains at Fibank and Eurohold, as well as a rise in diversified group Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:IHB], which increased by 5.00% to 1.89 levs.
Fibank and Eurohold also helped the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index climbed 0.54% to 723.66 points, with the gain also supported by a 2.38% rise in software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH] to 0.645 levs.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed 0.37% higher at 187.97 points. The only gainer, Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER], advanced by 1.75% to 3.48 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the BSE edged down to 440,418 levs ($245,133/225,181 euro) on Friday from 446,245 levs on Thursday.
The day's top stock by turnover, generating 86,908 levs with 11,057 shares traded, was diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH]. The stock closed flat at 7.86 levs.
