January 27 (SeeNews) - All indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in positive territory on Thursday, backed by a sharp gain in the shares of fertiliser maker Neochim [BUL:NEOH], bourse data showed.
A 44.74% rise in Neochim helped the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, close higher. The BGBX40 added 0.48% to 139.55 points, while the BGTR30 advanced by 1.55% to 683.79 points.
A total of 8,510 Neochim shares traded at an average price of 29.7834 levs on the BSE on Thursday.
Earlier on Thursday, Neochim said that it recorded a non-consolidated net profit of 51.5 million levs ($29.4 million/26.3 million euro) in 2021, up from 15.1 million levs profit booked in 2020 as revenue increased to 357.2 million levs from 229.4 million levs.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market rose sharply to 6.7 million levs from 1.1 million levs on Wednesday.
The most traded company was Holding Centre [BUL:HCEN]. As many as 46,180 shares in the holding traded 5.88% higher at an average price of 35.7964 levs, generating 1.65 million levs of the turnover for the day.
The blue-chip SOFIX index went up 0.13% to 611.71 points, mostly backed by a 3.30% rebound in the shares of IoT devices developer Allterco [BUL:A4L] which followed a 3.70% drop on Wednesday.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, rose by 0.11% to 166.62 points due to a 1.04% increase in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER].
