August 30 (SeeNews) - The indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) started the week on positive territory, with the blue-chip SOFIX index rising the most - by 0.48% to 572.52 points, bourse data showed on Monday.
The SOFIX was backed by a 2.61% increase in the shares of diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH]. In the previous trading session, Doverie United Holding topped the blue-chip decliners' list after shedding 2.54% of its share price.
Earlier on Monday, Doverie United Holding said that its consolidated net profit increased to 16.3 million levs ($8.3 million/9.8 million euro) in the first half of this year from 9.2 million levs in the comparable period of last year.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, added 0.40% to 129.04 points. The index was positively influenced mainly by Odessos Shiprepair Yard [BUL:ODES] which saw its shares climb up by 4.35%.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, went up 0.11% to 630.79 points, mainly supported by a 3.45% gain in the shares of diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH].
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, added 0.08% to 164.88 points, due to a 0.36% increase in the shares of Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER].
Total turnover on the BSE's main market fell to nearly 474,600 levs on Monday from 1.2 million levs on Friday.
