November 4 (SeeNews) - The indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange closed in green territory on Friday, with the blue-chip SOFIX inching up by 0.01% to 593.87 points, bourse data showed.
The index top gainer was Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:CCB], which rose by 1.88% to 1.63 levs with 22,375 shares traded. It was followed by financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:EAC], which climbed by 1.53% to 0.995 levs.
SOFIX losers were led by IoT and smart home products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L], which fell by 0.51% to 19.50 levs.
Central Cooperative Bank and Elana Agrocredit also supported the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index closed 0.10% higher at 712.99 points.
Meanwhile, the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, climbed by 0.05% to 136.99 points. The index was buoyed by diversified group Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria [BUL:ZHBG], which gained 9.87% to 0.17 levs with 8,500 shares traded. In addition, aluminium products manufacturer Alcomet AD [BUL:ALCM] rose by 2.52% to 8.15 levs.
Finally, the BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, climbed by 0.11% to 177.68 points. The positive performance was due to Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF], which gained 1% to 2.02 levs.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market plunged to 949,590 levs ($480,949/485,518 euro) on Friday from 15.6 million levs a day earlier.
The top stock by turnover was Galata Invest [BUL:GHT], which generated 720,000 levs with as many as 300,000 shares traded. The stock closed flat at 2.40 levs.
