March 16 (SeeNews) - All four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed higher on Thursday, with the blue-chip SOFIX adding 0.39% to 624.38 points on the back of gains at diversified groups Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH] and Chimimport [BUL:CHIM], bourse data showed.
Shares of Doverie United Holding rose by 2.32% to 7.94 levs, while Chimimport went up by 1.35% to 0.75 levs.
The two companies also supported the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The top gainer in both indices, however, was farming group Agria Group Holding [BUL:AGH], which leapt by 3.45% to 24.00 levs.
Overall, the BGBX40 advanced by 0.27% to 142.35 points, while the BGTR30 rose by 0.30% to 727.35 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, increased by 0.19% to 188.79 points. It was driven by Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER], which climbed 0.91% to 3.32 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange soared to 3.07 million levs ($1.66 million/1.57 million euro) on Thursday from 790,277 levs on Wednesday.
The top stock by turnover was civil engineering contractor Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57], with 494,235 levs from 133,577 shares traded. Trace Group Hold's shares closed 3.14% lower at 3.70 levs.
