December 6 (SeeNews) - The four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) overturned the previous day's losses and gained ground on Tuesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX growing the most, by 0.67% to 606.62 points, bourse data showed.
The SOFIX rise was helped by a 4.65% increase in diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM] and a 4.47% gain in First Investment Bank, or Fibank, [BUL:FIB].
Chimimport closed at 0.81 levs with 39,511 shares traded, while Fibank finished the session at 1.87 levs in a trading volume of 14,865.
The top losing SOFIX constituent, IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L], slipped 0.96% to 20.60 levs.
Chimimport and Fibank also led to a 0.50% increase in the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index closed at 729.61 points.
Alongside Chimimport, civil engineering contractor Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57] contributed to a 0.52% advance in the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse. The BGBX40 ended 0.52% higher at 138.92 points.
Trace Group Hold jumped 7.36% to 3.50 levs. On the other hand, BGBX40 member Korado Bulgaria [BUL:KBG] sank the most, by 3.28% to 5.90 levs with 3,250 shares bought and sold.
The BGREIT index, tracking seven real estate investment trusts, ticked up by 0.13% to 182.16 points. The sole gainer was Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER], which edged up 0.66% to 3.03 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange went up to 3.6 million levs ($1.9 million/1.8 million euro) on Tuesday from 2.96 million levs the day before.
The most traded company for the second straight day was real estate investment trust Sopharma Properties [BUL:SFI], which nearly doubled its turnover to 2.47 million levs. The stock closed flat at 9.45 levs with as many as 261,805 shares changing hands.
