June 29 (SeeNews) - All Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) equity indices closed higher on Wednesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX reversing the past two days' losses to end 0.17% higher at 612.50 points, bourse data showed.
The positive result came on the back of a 2.61% rise in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] to 2.36 levs and a 1.14% increase in Telelink Business Services Group [BUL:TBS] to 13.30 levs.
Tchaikapharma High Quality Medicines [BUL:THQM] generated turnover of some 1.2 million levs, or almost as much as half of the day's total on the BSE main market. Tchaikapharma closed flat at 15.40 levs as 77,900 shares were traded.
The total turnover increased to 2.8 million levs ($1.5 million/1.4 million euro) on Wednesday from 1.27 million levs on Tuesday.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, went up 0.42% to 144.10 points, on the back of a 5.38% gain in civil engineering company Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57] to 3.92 levs. Oil and Gas Exploration and Production [BUL:NGAZ] was the second biggest climber of the day among BGBX40 members, going up 4.17% to 7.50 levs.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, finished 0.24% higher at 739.65 points, as constituent Galata Investment Company [BUL:GTH] gained 3.45% to 2.40 levs.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, posted the biggest increase of 0.58% to 180.06 points, buoyed by the gain in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund and a 0.34% increase in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 2.93 levs.
