January 24 (SeeNews) - Three of the four main share indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in green territory on Tuesday, as only the blue-chip SOFIX index edged down by 0.03% to 615.34 points, bourse data showed.
The SOFIX was pushed lower by a 1.69% drop in energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG] to 1.75 levs and a 1.39% decline in software services business Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH] to 0.71 levs.
A 4.17% jump in Sofia Commerce Pawn Brokerage [BUL:SCOM] to 3.00 levs helped the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, inch up 0.01% to 141.67 points. The BGBX40 was also strengthened by a 1.71% rise in investment firm Eleven Capital [BUL:11C] to 23.80 levs.
The gain in Eleven Capital, along with a 1.68% increase in Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT] to 6.04 levs helped push up the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The BGTR30 closed 0.08% higher at 743.77 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, went up the most, by a quarter to 186.66 points, on the back of a 0.97% rise in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] to 2.08 levs.
The most traded stock on the day was power plant operator TPP Bobov Dol [BUL:TBD], which generated 223,992 levs with 10,980 shares traded. The stock closed flat at 20.40 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange rose slightly to 545,277 levs ($302,673/278,795 euro) on Tuesday from 410,278 levs a day earlier.
