September 28 (SeeNews) - Three of the four main share indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in the red on Wednesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX index losing 0.21% to 590.37 points, bourse data showed.
The SOFIX's weak performance reflected a 2.78% loss of M+S Hydraulic [BUL:MSH] to 8.75 levs ($4.31/4.47 euro). Additionally, First Investment Bank [BUL:FIB] slipped by 2.14% to 1.83 levs and Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH] fell by 1.42% to 6.96 levs.
The main blue-chip gainer was Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER], which rose by 1.41% to 2.88 levs, with 8,254 shares traded.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, declined by 0.28% to 137.28 points. The performance was pushed down by Eleven Capital [BUL:FIB], which lost 4.64% to 18.50 levs. Furthermore, Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage [BUL:SCOM] fell by 3.45% to 2.80 levs and the operator of the stock exchange itself [BUL:BSE] decreased by 3.3% to 8.80 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, was the only one to post gains on Wednesday, rising by 0.52% to 180.04 points. The index was buoyed by Roi Property Fund [BUL:RPF], which gained 3.27% to 7.90 and Advance Terrafund [BUL:ATER].
BGTR30 index, under which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, lost 0.48% to 714.22 points, dragged by Eleven Capital and the bourse operator.
NIF Dynamic [BUL:DYN] was the most liquid stock on the day, with as many as 275,200 shares traded. It generated a turnover of 2.94 million levs.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market fell to 3.76 million levs, from 4.16 million levs on Tuesday.
