May 13 (SeeNews) - The SOFIX was one of the three Sofia bourse indices which ended the week in decline on Friday, with the blue-chip index dropping 0.36% to 599.63 points, the first time it sank below 600 points since March 24, bourse data showed.
Energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG] weighed down on the SOFIX as well as on the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE). Eurohold finished the day with a decline of 3.51% to 2.20 levs as 5,417 of its shares were bought and sold.
The BGBX40 inched down 0.03% to 142.41 points, propped up by a 3.76% gain in Hydraulic Elements and Systems [BUL:HES] to 6.90 levs.
The BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, was the only stock index to record a rise, going up 0.40% to 717.91 points, mostly on the back of a 2.87% rise in Agria Group Holding [BSE:AGH] to 28.70 levs. Agria Group was the most liquid stock on the Sofia bourse, generating a turnover of 420,140 levs ($223,644/214,814 euro).
The BGREIT, which comprises seven real estate investment trusts, went down 0.06% to 180.64 points, as Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] skidded 1.96% lower to 3.50 levs.
Turnover on the BSE climbed to 1.34 million levs on Friday from 1.27 million levs on Thursday.
