September 5 (SeeNews) - All indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in the red on Monday, continuing Friday's weak performance, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SOFIX index lost 0.24% to 609.60 points, on the back of a 2.52% drop in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] to 2.32 levs and a 1.37% slip in Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH] to 7.20 levs.
The wider BGBX40 index inched down 0.05% to 141.62 points, as a gain in courier company Speedy [BUL:SPDY] was offset by the losses in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund and in Hydraulic Elements and Systems [BUL:HES].
Speedy advanced 4.76% to 110.00 levs while Hydraulic Elements and Systems ended the trading session 2.92% lower at 6.65 levs.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, ticked down 0.02% to 737.59 points, despite a 3.41% gain in Sopharma Properties REIT [BUL:SFI] to 9.10 levs.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, lost the most on Monday, slipping 0.31% to 182.76 points.
Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT] generated the biggest daily turnover, of 642,283 levs, and closed 0.77% higher at 5.24 levs in a trading volume of 122,573 shares.
Total turnover on the Sofia bourse's main market fell to some 1.15 million levs ($583,790/587,985 euro) on Monday from 1.8 million levs on Friday.
The Bulgarian Stock Exchange will be closed for trading on Tuesday, September 6, for the Unification Day public holiday.
