SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 3 (SeeNews) – The stock exchange indices on the Sofia bourse ended mostly higher on Wednesday while turnover on the regulated market fell, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip SOFIX index, which tracks the 15 most liquid shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), closed 1.11% higher at 521.77 points after rising 0.23% in the previous session.
The broader BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares, closed 0.83% higher at 104.18 points after rising 0.11% on Tuesday.
Turnover on the regulated market fell to 312,600 levs ($197,100/159,800 euro) from 712,500 levs a day earlier.
Resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] was the top SOFIX gainer, closing 7.44% higher at 54.90 levs as 737 shares changed hands.
Industrial Capital Holding [BUL:4I8] led the blue-chip decliners, falling 0.15% to 4.04 levs in a volume of 240 shares.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of the real estate investment trusts, closed 1.41% lower at 96.20 points after adding 0.16% on Tuesday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, went up by 0.56% to 405.16 points after closing 0.06% lower in the previous session.
