SOFIA (Bulgaria), July 10 (SeeNews) - Three of the four major Bulgarian Stock Exchange indices closed higher on Wednesday, as trading turnover amounted to a shy 127,000 levs ($73,000/65,000 euro) - down from 1.1 million levs on Tuesday.

The SOFIX, which tracks the 15 most traded and capitalised stocks on the Sofia bourse, gained 0.35% to 580.64 points.

Diversified group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] led gainers among SOFIX members with a 2.35% rise, followed by industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] and Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:5BU], with gains of 1.77% and 0.94%, respectively.

The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks 40 stocks, rose 0.23% to 115.32 points, while the BGBX40 , in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, edged down 0.01 point to 509.71 points.

Car battery maker Monbat [BUL:5MB] led gainers among BGBX40 and BGBX40 constituents, after announcing late on Tuesday that it has exercised a put option, requesting that Prista Oil Holding buys back a 54% stake in local winery Leventa for 2.9 million levs.

The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, added 0.20% to 127.22 points, solely due to the rise in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT shares.
