November 16 (SeeNews) - All four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in red territory on Wednesday, with blue-chip SOFIX slipping by 0.50% to 592.18 points dragged by Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:CCB] and First Investment Bank [BUL:FIB].
Central Cooperative Bank fell by 6.63% to 1.55 levs with 10,600 shares traded, showing the biggest decline in the index. The company was followed by First Investment Bank, which lost 4.21% to 1.82 levs. Additionally, fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH], which is faced with manufacturing issues, decreased by 3.74% to 41.20 levs.
The three companies also pushed down the BGBX40 and BGTR30 indices. BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded companies on the Sofia bourse, went down by 0.25% to 136.63 points. At the same time, BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, slipped by 0.32% to 714.01 points.
Lastly, the BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, decreased by 0.11% to 179.14 points. The only loser in the index was Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF], which fell by 0.99% to 2.00 levs. At the same time, Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] gained 0.34% to 2.99 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse decreased to 504,481 levs ($268,015/257,937 euro) on Wednesday from 589,524 levs a day earlier.
The most traded stock was chemicals supplier Himsnab [BUL:CHSB], which generated turnover of 122,100 levs with 2,200 shares traded. The company closed flat at 55.50 levs.
