August 16 (SeeNews) - The main share indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) all recorded declines on Tuesday even as turnover doubled, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SOFIX index tumbled 1.23% to 614.64 points, pushed downwards by an 8.85% drop in Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:IHB] to 2.06 levs and a 5.42% decline in IoT devices maker Allterco [BUL:A4L] to 19.20 levs in a trading volume of 11,663.
After close of trading on Monday, Allterco posted a 9% decline in its first-half consolidated net profit to 6.34 million ($3.3 million/3.2 million euro) after a one-off adjustment for a partial payment of arrears to Link Mobility Group.
The losses at IHB and Allterco also impacted the performance of the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, and that of the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight.
The BGBX40 retreated 1.00% to 141.93 points while the BGTR30 closed 0.87% lower at 739.12 points, with both indices also affected by a 4.44% slip in Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH] to 8.60 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, lost 0.44% to 184.54 points, on the back of a 2.42% drop in the shares of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] to 2.42 levs.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market rose to 1.4 million levs on Tuesday from 674,470 levs on Monday, with NIF Dynamic [BUL:DYN] contributing about a quarter.
The investment fund closed flat, with as many as 31,000 shares changing hands at an average price of 10.60 levs.
