December 5 (SeeNews) - All main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in red territory on Monday, with the blue-chip SOFIX falling by 0.47% to 602.61 points after losses at Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:CCB] and diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM].
Central Cooperative Bank decreased by 3.64% to 1.59 levs with 14,998 shares traded, while Chimimport fell by 3.01% to 0.77 levs. There were no gainers in SOFIX.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, dipped by 0.29% to 138.20 points. The top loser in the index was civil engineering contractor Trace Group [BUL:T57], which dropped by 6.86% to 3.26 levs. Additionally, the index was pressed by Central Cooperative Bank and Chimimport.
The bank and Chimimport were the top losers in the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index closed 0.39% lower at 725.97 points.
Lastly, the BGREIT index, tracking seven real estate investment trusts, slipped by 0.07% to 181.92 points. The only loser was Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER], which decreased by 0.33% to 3.01 levs. The other six members of the index closed flat.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange surged to 2.96 million levs ($1.59 million/1.51 million euro) on Monday after closing at 925,795 levs last week.
The top stock by turnover was real estate investment trust Sopharma Properties [BUL:SFI], which generated 1.33 million levs with 140,300 shares traded. The company closed flat at 9.45 levs.
