September 10 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed the trading week mixed, bourse data showed on Friday.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market rose to 2.5 million levs ($1.5 million/1.3 million euro) on Friday from about 1 million levs on Thursday.
The most traded company on Friday was drug maker Sopharma [BUL:SFA]. A total of 350,164 of the company's shares changed hands 0.54% lower at an average price of 3.6600 levs, contributing some 1.3 million levs the trading turnover for the day.
Sopharma said late on Thursday that it intends to repurchase up to 350,000 of its own shares on September 10, at a price of 3.66 levs per share.
The blue-chip SOFIX index dropped by 0.54% to 563.08 points, mainly dragged down by a 6.11% decline in the share price of resort operator Albena [BUL:ALB].
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, edged down 0.02% to 129.38 points, negatively influenced by Holding Sveta Sofia [BUL:HSOF] which saw its shares fall 6.15%.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.13% to 636.23 points, mostly backed by a 4.76% gain in the shares of Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:IHB].
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, edged up by 0.04% to 163.48 points, due to a 0.88% increase in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund [BUL:BREF].
