December 15 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed mixed on Wednesday, as turnover rose sharply, boosted by trading in the shares of Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG], bourse data showed.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market jumped to 29.8 million levs ($17.1 million/15.2 million euro) from 2.6 million levs on Tuesday.
Eurohold was the most traded company on Wednesday, as 10,005,000 of its shares changed hands flat at an average price of 2.1999 levs, contributing 22 million levs of the turnover for the day.
The blue-chip SOFIX index went up 0.05% to 608.28 points, mainly backed by a 6.80% rebound in the shares of IoT devices developer Allterco [BUL:A4L]. On Tuesday, Allterco closed 5.50% lower.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, also added 0.05%, to 138.37 points. The rise in the index was supported by an 8.00% increase in the share price of venture capital firm Eleven Capital [BUL:11C] that followed a 7.41% drop in the previous trading session.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.16% to 664.37 points, dragged down by a 4.37% decline in the share price of Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:CCB] .
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed 0.58% lower at 162.54 points, mainly due to a 2.22% drop in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF].
On the Bulgarian Enterprise Accelerator Market (BEAM) market, the initial public offering (IPO) of shares of investment company HR Capital was oversubscribed almost 11 times on Wednesday. The company raised nearly 1.5 million levs in the IPO, the bourse operator said.
