May 5 (SeeNews) - Two of the four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in green territory on Friday, with the blue-chip SOFIX edging up 0.03% to 613.91 points, bourse data showed.
SOFIX was buoyed by a 1.43% rise in Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:CCB] to 1.42 levs and a 1.34% climb in fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] to 37.90 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, added 0.31% to 189.06 points. It was pushed upwards by a 0.92% increase in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] to 2.20 levs and a 0.88% gain in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.43 levs.
In contrast, the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, inched down by 0.01% to 140.53 points. The index was set back by diversified group Synergon Holding [BUL:SNRG], which dropped by 5.88% to 0.96 levs, and venture capital firm Eleven Capital [BUL:11C], which erased 3.59% to 18.80 levs.
Eleven Capital also dragged down the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. Additionally, a 2.61% decline in farming group Agria Group Holding [BUL:AGH] to 22.40 levs led to the index shedding 0.03% to 722.36 points.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange plunged to 1.5 million levs ($849,305/766,935 euro) on Friday from 3.86 million levs on Thursday.
The day's top stock by turnover was investment firm Holding Center [BUL:HCEN], which generated 629,850 levs with 16,150 shares traded. The stock closed flat at 39.00 levs.
