December 16 (SeeNews) - The indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed Thursday's trading session in positive territory, with the blue-chip SOFIX index rising 2.31% to 622.32 points.
The SOFIX was mostly backed by IoT devices developer Allterco [BUL:A4L] whose shares increased by 8.18%.
Earlier on Thursday Allterco said it is entering the heating management devices market and launching a smart thermostatic radiator valve.
As many as 37,560 shares in Allterco traded at an average price of 24.2435 levs, making it the most traded company.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market dropped to 3.5 million levs ($2.0 million/1.8 million euro) from 29.8 million levs on Wednesday.
Allterco's gains also supported a rise in the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight - by 0.31% to 666.52 points.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, went up by 1.19% to 140.02 points mostly due to a 10.19% increase in the shares of venture capital firm Eleven Capital [BUL:11C].
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed 0.08% higher at 162.67 points, on the back of a 0.36% rise in the share price of Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER].
On Wednesday Advance Terrafund said that it purchased 166 hectares of agricultural land at an average price of 6,749 euro per hectare in November and expects to book rental revenue of 3.1 million euro for the 2021/2022 agricultural year.
