January 20 (SeeNews) - Most indices of the Bulgarian stock exchange ended the week flattish as Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] was the top blue-chip gainer, bourse data showed.
The lender closed 2.14% higher at 1.621 levs, bouncing back from a 2.34% drop on Thursday. A total of 1,000 shares of the bank changed hands on Friday.
Total stock trading turnover rose to 1.2 million levs ($654,100/613,000 euro) on Friday, from 796,600 levs on Thursday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index added 0.02% to 605.20 points, after edging down 0.22% on Thursday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, rose 0.03% to 116.24 points, following an increase by 0.28% on Thursday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of the real estate investment trusts, fell 0.35% to 107.84 points, after closing 0.38% higher on Thursday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, dropped 0.02% to 467.76 points, after increasing by 0.22% on Thursday.
Bulgarian Real Estate Fund [BUL:5BU] led the blue-chip decliners on Friday, losing 1.33% to 2.230 levs as 1,697 of the company’s shares were traded.
Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] was the most traded blue chip on Friday, as 145,125 company shares traded at an average price of 3.331 levs.
