January 11 (SeeNews) - All indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed higher on Tuesday as turnover more than doubled, bourse data showed.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market rose to 1.7 million levs ($985,500/869,200 euro) from 759,900 levs in the previous trading session.
The most traded company was National Investment Fund Dynamic (NIF Dynamic) [BUL:DYN]. A total of 63,700 shares in NIF Dynamic traded 0.39% higher at an average price of 10.2379 levs, contributing some 652,200 levs of the total daily turnover.
The blue-chip SOFIX index went up by 0.33% to 650.71 points. Pharmaceuticals maker Sopharma [BUL:SFA] led the gainers among members of the SOFIX, with a 1.75% increase in its shares.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed 0.25% higher at 162.13 points, mainly supported by a 0.69% rise in the share price of Advance Terrafund [BUL:ATER].
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, increased by 0.38% to 699.15 points, backed by a 3.03% rise in the shares of poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6].
Gains in Gradus also helped the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, close 0.34% higher to 145.89 points.
As many as 7,000 shares in Gradus changed hands at an average price of 1.3523 levs on the floor of the Sofia bourse.
