February 24 (SeeNews) - All four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in green territory on Friday, with the blue-chip SOFIX adding 0.24% to 619.02 points.
SOFIX was boosted by a 4.59% jump in fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] to 41.00 levs and a 2.53% increase in IT services provider Telelink Business Services (TBS) Group [BUL:TBS] to 10.15 levs.
Earlier on Friday, Neochim said that its consolidated net profit soared to 79.4 million levs in 2022 from 46.7 million levs a year earlier. On Wednesday, the company said it had resumed operations at its ammonia manufacturing unit, after it solved technical issues reported in January.
Neochim was also the top gainer in the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight.
The two indices were further pushed by a 3.33% advance in diversified group Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:IHB] to 1.86 levs. Overall, the BGBX40 grew by 0.10% to 142.19 points, while the BGTR30 edged up 0.08% to 735.01 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, climbed 0.27% to 186.93 points, driven by a 1.54% gain in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.30 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange surged to 1.21 million levs ($656,800/618,700 euro) on Friday from 553,394 levs a day earlier.
The most traded stock of the day was Bulgarian Stock Exchange [BUL:BSE], which generated 53,140 levs with 6,108 shares changing hands. The stock closed 1.14% lower at 8.70 levs.
