October 13 (SeeNews) - The main share indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) all closed lower on Thursday, with the blue-chip SOFIX declining 0.40% to 580.37 points, bourse data showed.
The SOFIX was pushed down by a 2.38% loss in Allterco [BUL:A4L] to 16.40 levs along with a 1.95% decrease in fertiliser maker Neochim [BUL:NEOH] to 40.20 levs.
These losses, together with a 2.75% slip in Agria Group Holding [BUL:AGH] to 24.80 levs, also negatively affected the BGTR30 index, under which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight . The BGTR30 closed 0.26% lower at 699.39 points, despite a 1.18% rise in Bulgarian Stock Exchange [BUL:BSE] to 8.60 levs.
Diversified group Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria [BUL:ZHBG] lost the most among constituents of the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse. The company's shares erased 6.79% to 0.151 levs.
The BGBX40 ticked down 0.32% to 134.57 points, further destabilised by a 3.68% slip in aluminium producer Alcomet [BUL:ALCM] to 6.55 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, went down 0.18% to 176.27 points on the back of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund [BUL:BREF] declining 0.99% to 2.00 levs.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market inched up to 729,093 ($363,091/372,779 euro) from 705,060 levs on Wednesday.
Investment company Capital Management [BUL:CAPM] was the most liquid stock on the day, generating turnover of 141,985 levs. It closed 1.35% lower at 73.00 levs with as many as 1,945 shares traded.
