September 13 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) rose by 0.49% to 565.83 points on Monday, supported by a 2.65% increase in the share price of Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER], bourse data showed.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market fell to 943,700 levs ($569,200/482,500 euro) on Monday from 2.5 million levs on Friday.
The most traded company on Monday was real estate investment firm 235 Holdings [BUL:235H]. A total of 9,000 of the company's shares traded 19.31% higher at an average price of 34.5898 levs, contributing some 311,300 levs to the trading turnover.
The significant gain in 235 Holdings shares helped the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, advance by 0.44% to 639.04 points.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, went up 0.15% to 129.58 points, mainly supported by aluminium products manufacturer Alcomet [BUL: ALCM] which saw its shares add 3.83% to their price.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, edged down by 0.03% to 163.43 points, due to a 2.61% decrease in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund [BUL:BREF].
