March 17 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index fell 0.37% to 422.40 points on Tuesday, marking its fourth consecutive losing session.
Diversified group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] lost most among blue chips, ending 8.79% lower at 0.83 levs. Chimimport's unit - Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:4CF] was also among the top three decliners on Tuesday, dropping 5.56% to 0.85 levs.
The other major blue-chip decliner on Tuesday was leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:0EA], which saw its share price fall 6.86% to 0.95 levs.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, rose 0.32% to 88.22 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, edged down 0.13% to 425.23 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, grew 1.33% to 127.38 points.
Total regulated market trading turnover remained higher than usual, and totalled 1.4 million levs ($785,000/716,000 euro) on Tuesday.
