March 24 (SeeNews) - Most indices on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange closed lower on Thursday, with the blue-chip SOFIX index falling by 0.58% to 597.23 points, bourse data showed.
A 3.72% drop in IoT devices developer Allterco [BUL:A4L] dragged down the SOFIX. Allterco closed at 18.10 levs as 566 shares in the company changed hands.
Galata Investment Company [BUL:GTH] declined by 6.14% to 2.14 levs, which made the company the top decliner among members of the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse. The BGBX40 index lost 0.51% to 138.95 points.
The BGTR30, under which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, was the only index to close higher on Thursday, by 0.04% to 703.08 points. The index was positively influenced by a 12.75% increase in Agria Group Holding [BUL:AGH], to a price of 23 levs, as a total of 21,355 shares in the firm changed hands.
Agria Group Holding was the most traded company on Thursday, contributing 491,165 levs to the 2.2 million levs ($1.2 million/1.1 million euro) turnover on the BSE's main market.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, decreased by 0.33% to 170.94 points, due to a 0.98% fall in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF].
