May 27 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index extended its winning run to four consecutive winning sessions, after closing 0.30% higher at 452.92 points on Wednesday, bourse data shows.
First Investment Bank (Fibank) [BUL:5F4] gained most among blue chips on Wednesday - 5.51%. The other major gainer among SOFIX members was Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:4CF], which added 2.83%.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, edged down 0.02% to 96.12 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added a slim 0.07% to 466.23 points.
Both indices were hurt by a 2.68% drop in the share price of resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB].
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, erased 0.11% to 133.28 points.
Total regulated market trading turnover amounted to some 1.8 million levs ($1 million/920,000 euro) on Wednesday.
